PLUS MUCH MUCH MORE...
We´d love you to join us as we celebrate the tradition of village life in the heart of the North Norfolk Countryside...
We´re sure you´ll be going quackers for more!
Here´s a few of this year´s attractions to give you a flavour of what to expect:-
We´ve got some particularly talented folk around Worstead and we´re aiming to showcase some of the best crafts from the area and nearby. From children´s wooden toys to handmade jewellery and stalls selling unusual or funky gifts, the aim is to bring a real cross section of crafters and suppliers to the 2015 festival. Have a browse round and see what you think. Bet you find something you like.
Including a Coconut Shy, the "Mousetrap" game, Splat the Rat, Bowling for a pig and many more.
In the Church
Worstead’s a weaving village so any celebration of rural life wouldn’t be complete without the Worstead Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers. The group is proud of its heritage and will be demonstrating the art of weaving as well as displaying what the traditional looms can produce.
Any festival in Worstead wouldn’t be the same without the well-loved heavy horses who will be brought along to delight visitors and parade in a ring dedicated to rural history. There’s the chance to find out more about them from their owners who will be happy to chat.
Vintage Tractors (Starting Handle Club)
Again, the tractors are a big draw as exhibitors take people back in time to a more steady pace of life. There will be the chance to browse around plenty of old models and see some in action.
Animals can really make an event magic and we will be giving visitors the chance to get up close to a few species. The Raptor Trust will be there with talks in the Country Ring!
Fun Dog Show
We will be holding a Fun Dog Show for all of you canine lovers, so bring your pet dog along and enter them into the show. The Dog Show is on both the Saturday and Sunday and open to everyone. - Run by Westover Vets.
