Details for this year´s event are still to be published but to give a flavour of what to expect below are the details of what took place last year:-

Join us for a trip down memory lane, we roll the clock back to the 1940s Wartime era, with a display of vintage war time vehicles at Dereham and other stations. Steam services operate throughout the weekend, and there will be themed events along the line, giving the railway a period feel from the era, and will include most of our smaller stations.

Dereham Station

Dereham will be the allied forces base for the weekend, where there will be a military vehicle display and stands selling period memorabilia. There will be British and American living history displays, as well as a Blitz Experience.

Each day, at approx. 2.30pm each day, there will be a war re-enactment.

Station Buffet will be open selling period refreshments and snacks.

Yaxham Station

The French Resistance will be protecting the station from any unwelcome german forces. The Yaxham Light Railway will be open giving you the chance to drive a Wartime locomotive for a fiver.
You can also see the on going restoration of 1944 wartime built Hunslet 3193 which served both British and American forces during its war service.
