Halloween at Holkham
Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th October, 10am-5pm
There will be tricks and treats, adventures and plenty of fun for all the family. Dress for the occasion and be prepared for thrills galore as Holkham Hall and the Walled Gardens will be taken over with all things ‘spooktacular’ this Halloween!
Creepy crawlies and slithery reptiles will make your skin crawl this Halloween!
Venture into Holkham Hall and get hands-on and creative with the Kiddy Cook team in the old kitchen – decorate your spooky cup cake with bats and bugs to make it terrifyingly tasty? Sneak around the hall and test your knowledge with our ‘haunted hall’ quiz and keep your eyes peeled looking out for our silly gourds, while discovering some bewildering batty factoids along the way.
‘Field to Fork’ will become truly frightening as you dare to put your hands into creepy crawly boxes. Bats will abound, quizzes and riddles will bewitch you and look out for the gruesome pumpkins.
Hop on board the Halloween Express over to the walled garden and face your fears – ‘Party Animals’ will have live creepy crawlies, spooky spiders, slithery snakes and lazy lizards to show you. If you have the nerve, let Fairy Folk and Fable (27th & 28th October) or Tilly the Talespinner (29th & 30th October) enthral you with spell-binding, mystical tales.
Come dressed for the occasion and join in our fancy dress parade, get gory grazes or weeping wounds with our face painting and test your powers of pumpkin carving. Our creepy crawly trails, skullduggery games and Halloween crafts will make your visit truly ‘spooktacular!’
Tickets: Event is included in standard admission. Some activities will incur an extra charge.
