Description of event:
Dragon Boat racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today- as well as the most fun! Up to 10 people paddle each 30´ boat with a drummer at the front beating in time and our helm at the tail steering a straight course. No previous experience required, just plenty of team spirit!
The East Anglian Dragon Boat Festival is one of the largest charity dragon boat events in the country and the largest corporate team event in East Anglia. Each year it attracts up to 52 teams, over 5,000 spectators and has to date raised more than £100,000 for charity.
Gable Events is proud to have once again joined with Festival charity, East Coast Hospice, to bring you the 11th East Anglian Charity Dragon Boat Festival.
