Our very own VW T25

And here’s our own little beauty – currently (and rather frantically) being rebuilt, following lots of work. Here’s hoping Bertie is finished in time for VW Whitenoise 2013!

California Westfalia conversion with all manner of nooks and crannies to hide away the stuff Norfolk Holiday Guide owner, Alison, just cannot live without!

VW Whitenoise 2013 – 18 days to go!

Well they say time flies when you are having fun and working on Norfolk Holiday Guide is certainly that. 🙂

We get to hear first hand all the wonderful activities and events happening in the county.

For a few years now we have been working closely with Lucy and Neil who founded VW Whitenoise back in 2001.

It is a family run event organised by people passionate about VW’s and camping, oh and music! It’s an annual VW and Music Festival celebrating all things Volkswagen and takes place over three days. Apparently, so we are told, it is East Anglia’s largest VW & Music Festival. Over 10,000 visitors enjoyed the  2012 Norfolk show and they are expecting similar numbers for the 2013 event from 16-18 August at the Norfolk Showground.

VW Whitenoise 2012 – let’s hope for similar skies this year!

We will be there (enjoying ourselves NOT working, hehe!) and are looking forward to the free kids activities, the roller disco, the music and MOST IMPORTANTLY – the food!! Whether you are a veggie, a meat lover, a spice freak or a noodle nosher there is truly something for everyone 🙂

Here’s some pics of us enjoying a previous VW Whitenoise festival (plus you get to see how lovely we are 🙂 )

The Small One and The Other Half also love nosing around other people’s VW’s!

Some weekend camping tickets are still available for VW Whitenoise (but all electric hook up’s gone so let’s hope your mobile can last the weekend!) or just turn up on the day!

Look forward to seeing you there!

Welcome to our blog!

So since the world and his wife are blogging and we know it makes absolute sense from an SEO perspective, we thought it about time we added another medium to communicate with both our prospective paying customers and the visitors to our website Norfolk Holiday Guide.com who come in search of interesting and informative information about Norfolk.

We love to promote anything happening in Norfolk – whether you are a local business growing or making something in Norfolk – like Yare Valley Rapeseed Oils or making products from home grown chilli’s like Philli Chillies – we want to hear from you and share it with the world 🙂

Summertime is a very busy time for our advertisers. There are lots of events happening in the county, so it would be rude of us not to promote our “What’s on” section. Go on, take a look. The boss isn’t looking over your shoulder, promise!

For those of us a bit disorganised and yet to plan our 2013 hols – well you had better get your skates on and pick something as availability is scarce, but there are still some good bargains to be had:

Sykes Cottages say they still have some good late availability deals

Sea view caravan’s at Cable Gap’s Holiday Park

Or how about staying in a windmill! How cool would that be?!

Or in a waterside lodge?

Wow! The choices are just endless. If none of our choices have tickled your fancy, why not try searching for your own: http://www.norfolkholidayguide.com
