Stephen Mole Photography - recommended by Norfolk Holiday Guide
Born and bred in Gorleston and now living in Ormesby, I have lived in Norfolk all my life.
I´ve always had a ´decent´ camera but have had no photographic training at all ... relying more on reading books/magazines and more importantly seeing and appreciating others work. Always wondering ´how did they do that?´
Although a nice camera helps, I always think that the most important part of a good photo is not the camera. or lens, but what the eyes see.
It´s the ´seeing´ that separates a good picture from a ´snap´.
Training can help technique, but not how to see and appreciate a particular scene!
I like to think of my images as capturing the uniqueness of this part of the world. The big skies ... expansive beaches .... rotting boats .... infinite flatness of the Norfolk Broads, the marshes with just the occasional windmill to add height! I like to think that anybody seeing one of my images will think “I’d love to be there”
Norfolk is large county and I spend my time fairly equally spread between the North Norfolk Coast, the East Coast and of course the Norfolk Broads. Each area being totally different with different challenges. But living close by the Broads means that they have a special meaning to me.
Prints, Canvases and Greetings Cards can be purchased directly from my website or from outlets within Norfolk (details on my website) and at my exhibitions.
The prints are produced on ´Art´ paper which gives a much higher quality and durability that ordinary Photo Paper.
I have an up coming exhibition with a friend, for a three week spell in August, at Blickling Hall near Aylsham 6th August to 26th August (10.00 to 17.00)
All my images are now available printed on ´Art´ paper or canvas
