Scuba Diving in Norfolk
With its long coastline, Norfolk is bound to be home to some great scuba diving. It doesn´t disappoint - there are over 300 shipwrecks off the Norfolk coast that divers can explore (one of the largest concentrations around the UK). There really is something for everyone as the wrecks vary in depth from The Rosalie and The Vera that lie just off the North Norfolk coast in approximately six to eight metres of water (and can be done as shore dives) to the deeper wrecks approx. 20 miles off shore. Scuba divers can also explore the chalk gullies just off Cromer and Sheringham. All locations contain lots of life including many crabs, lobsters, nudibranchs, sponges and the occasional seal.

Divers can book a space on a dive boat and get their air tanks filled through local PADI dive centre Christal Seas Scuba who are based in Norwich. See www.scuba4me.co.uk for details.

There are plenty of inland activities to keep divers happy too. PADI centre Christal Seas Scuba organises regular pool sessions, inland training dives, social events and meetings / presentations involving local experts. There´s always something going on and visiting divers are welcome to come along.
