Norfolk Guest Houses
Norfolk Guest Houses, sometimes described as small hotels, are often a more affordable type of accommodation. These days fewer people are finding holidays abroad affordable, so if you choose to remain in the UK and are restricted by a budget then this type of accommodation can be most beneficial. Due to their size Guest Houses are usually owner managed with the owner living in a completely separate area within the property. This, together with the absence of full-time staff, is what distinguishes them from hotels.

Unlike Hotels, which can employ staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week, check-in at Guest Houses may be by appointment at pre-arranged times. However, because of their size, they tend to be cosy and more homely and the owner and their family much more friendly than you would expect to find in an hotel. This is what helps to make your stay at a Norfolk Guest House a much more relaxed holiday, with the freedom to plan your days doing whatever pleases you and your family.

Situated on the east coast of England nowadays Norfolk is becoming a much more popular holiday destination. It has a distinctive coastline with some most delightful beaches including those at Cromer and Great Yarmouth, which is a favourite destination for young families. The surrounding countryside and the famous Norfolk Broads are home to a range of wildlife, some of which is unique to this part of the country and some which, like the British Otter, is returning after being made almost extinct in England. Local pubs and restaurants offer exquisite meals, often using local meat and produce.
There is plenty to see and do here in Norfolk from lively market towns to medieval churches, from country walks to Boat Tours. For the more energetic there is a range of places to test your stamina such as outdoor activity centres, many golf clubs and sailing clubs and schools. Bicycle hire is popular here with many paths and trails running parallel to the rivers and waterways in the Broads. Of the many sporting attractions the Horse Trials at Burnham Market are popular events. Whatever your taste in fun, Norfolk Guest Houses, together with Bed and Breakfast accommodation, provide a perfect base from which to explore the delights which Norfolk has to offer.
