The Pop-Up Restaurant

John Kenny, Norfolk man, winner of ITV’s Britain’s Best Dish and Anglia Farmer’s Plough To Plate Award, is opening the first pop-up restaurant in Norwich on 25th and 26th November 2011 at Dragon Hall, 123 King St, Norwich NR1 1QE.

He will be serving 7 sumptuous courses with matching fine wines.

John only serves the finest food with the finest wines and his priority is the complete and exclusive dining experience for his customers.

Where?

John has carefully selected Dragon Hall for its wonderfully warm and magical atmosphere. Big enough to create a busy atmosphere and small enough to keep it intimate and exclusive. In order to maintain excellence and exclusivity, John will not serve more than 50 covers each night.

John will be finding similar venues across East Anglia and will pop up at various locations throughout the year. He will keep his diners posted as to where he’ll be cooking next. All clients will be invited to be placed on an exclusive mailing list for the next event and given priority booking.

Why?

John is passionate about outstanding, local produce and has not stopped cooking since he won Britain’s Best Dish in 2007 and Anglia Farmers Plough to Plate Award in 2008. He has cooked for some of the country’s elite as well as celebrity chef Ed Baines, well known international cricketer Mark Nicholas and a wide range of private and corporate clients. He now wants to take his cooking to the next stage and to be the first to open a pop-up restaurant in Norwich. John’s aim is to provide a memorable night of fine dining where food and wine are perfectly married, ethically produced and where the customer is left wanting John to return to their city as soon as possible.

Price

£80 per person
This includes 7 sumptuous courses inc. Britain’s Best Dish, a Kir Royal on arrival, white wine, red wine (or more white if preferred), port, a dessert wine and a cognac with your coffee and petit four. Plus each table will receive a private tutorial on the provenance and properties of each wine from our French vintner.
